Hero Honda launched two bikes to meet the everyday needs of normal commuters and these bikes include CD Deluxe and CD Dawn. The company then upgraded these bikes to make them more refined and increase their aesthetic appeal. The changes have been incorporated keeping in mind the evolving requirements of customers.

The Hero Honda New CD Deluxe review indicates that the bike comes with a 97.2 cc single cylinder air cooled OHC engine. This engine can deliver power of 7.6 bhp at 7500 rpm along with peak torque of 7.5 Nm at 6000 rpm. The bike has 4 gears and multiplate wet type clutch. The length of the bike is 1965mm and its width is 720mm while its height is 1045mm.

The ride quality of the bike has improved in comparison to the previous models. The riding experience in first two gears may seem jerky at times though it gets better in the third gear. The bike is available seven colors and these include black with golden stripes, candy Tahitian blue, black with yellow stripes, amaranth maroon, cloud silver, cool mint green and candy blazing red.
