Kia Forte Review
Kia has entered the small sedan car segment through launch of Kia Forte. This is an exceptionally good looking car with an uncluttered and smooth design. The company is expected to launch its line up of cars in the Indian automobile market sometime in 2012.
Kia Forte Specifications
The Kia Forte car comes with a 2L CVVT petrol engine and this engine can deliver power of 155 bhp at 6200 rpm along with peak torque of 194 Nm at 4200 rpm. The length of the car is 4530 mm and its width is 1775 mm while its height is 1460 mm. The car can seat 5 individuals with considerable comfort.
The Kia Forte has 5-speed manual transmission feature. The engine delivers good acceleration and the steering is extremely responsive. The car is able to deliver a firm and absorbent ride and the brake system includes four wheel discs. At lower speeds the ride quality may seem stiffer but it improves at higher speeds.
The car has independent strut front suspension along with stabiliser bar as well as coil springs. The rear suspension includes semi independent torsion beam along with stabilise bar as well as coil springs. The car has four disc brakes with two ventilated brakes.
Kia Forte Mileage
The car can deliver mileage of around 14.1 km/litre on an average.
Kia Forte Interiors
The interiors of the car are uncluttered and well organised. The interior is not as sophisticated as the exterior design. The car has an excellent audio system delivering crisp sound. The car also has air conditioner with climate control feature.
Kia Forte Safety features
The safety features in the car include 2 airbags, fog lamp and parking sensors. The car also has anti lock brake system and electronic brake force distribution feature.
Kia Forte Price and design variations
The starting price of the car is Rs 9 lakhs and the car is available in a single design variation.
Kia Forte Colors
The car is available in 6 colors and these include Titanium metallic, ebony black, racing red, copperhead metallic, bright silver metallic and corsa blue metallic.
