Mercedes A Class Review
Mercedes has enjoyed a reputation of developing elegant and sophisticated cars that appeal to the elite and business class individuals. In an attempt to broaden its horizon and increase its customer base the company will be launching the Mercedes Benz A Class car. This small car comes with a powerful engine and the interior is also beautiful enough to appeal to most people.
Mercedes A Class Specification
The Mercedes A Class review indicates that the car is expected to come equipped with a 1991cc, 4-cylinder CDi diesel engine. This engine will be able to deliver power of 82 bhp at 4200 rpm along with peak torque of 180 Nm at 1400 rpm. The length of the car is 3838mm and its width is 1764mm while its height is 1593mm.
The hatchback is expected to be launched in the Indian market in August 2010. The car will be able to accommodate 5 individuals. The car has a high seating and long wheelbase and can be handled with ease compared to earlier A versions which used to have stability problems. The car has boot space of 435 litres. The engine of the car is mated with 5 manual gears and it has fuel tank capacity of 54 litres. The car has front and rear disk brake system.

The mileage figures for the car on Indian roads are not known as yet.

The interiors of the car are elegant and well appointed. The car has sandwich flooring and this ensures that the engine as well as drivetrain is compact. Being away from driver it ensures that the interiors seem spacious. The rear seats have 60/40 split feature and can be folded. The car has climate control feature along with air conditioner.

The car has several safety features and these include airbags, antilock brake system, fog lamp and parking sensors.
Mercedes A Class Price and design variations
The price of the car is expected to be around Rs 28 lakhs and the car will be available in single design variation.

The colors which the car will be available are not known as yet.
