The 5.0L V8 engine generates power of 388 bhp at 6000 rpm and torque of 530 Nm at 2800 to 4800 rpm. The CLS 63 AMG can deliver power of 514 bhp.
The car is equipped with 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission and this allows for improved fuel consumption. The car has front ventilated along with rear disk brakes. The length of the car is 4917mm and its width is 2107mm and its height is 1430mm. The kerb weight of the car is 2170 kgs and its fuel tank capacity is 83 litres.

The 3.0L V6 petrol engine delivers mileage of 9km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is 12km/litre. The 5.0L V8 petrol engine can deliver mileage of 6 km/litre in the city and the mileage on the highway is 12 km/litre.
