Mercedes E-Class Coupe Review
The Mercedes Benz E-Class Coupe was launched by Mercedes Benz India in 2010. This two door car has an athletic design and comes in both petrol as well as diesel engine variants. This car was launched by the company to fulfil the needs of upper middle class customers within the luxury segment.
Mercedes E-Class Coupe Specification
The car comes equipped with a 2143 cc engine along with 5-speed power transmission. The other variants include one with 2497cc V6 engine with 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The car also has option of 2987CC V6 engine along with 7G tronic automatic power transmission. The last engine option includes 3498cc V6 engine. The 2.5L engine can generate power of 204 bhp at 6100 rpm along with torque of 245Nm at 5000 to 5500 rpm.
The 3.5L V6 engine can deliver output of 272 bhp along with torque of 355 Nm at 4500 rpm. The 3.0L V6 engine can deliver power of 231 bhp along with torque of 540 Nm at 1600 to 2400 rpm. The length of the car is 4868mm and its width is 1854mm while it has a height of 1471mm. The suspension system of the car includes Independent Mc-Pherson struts along with coil springs.
The car has a turning circle of 11.25 metres and boot space capacity of 520 litres. The car has tilt steering along with front ventilated and rear disk brakes. The fuel tank capacity of the car is around 89 litres.

The car can deliver mileage of around 7 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is around 11 km/litre.

The interiors of the car are extremely elegant and compliment beautifully with the overall design and aura of the Mercedes car. The controls and the knobs are placed in an ergonomical manner on the dashboard and can be operated with ease. The audio controls are mounted on the steering wheel. The seats are extremely comfortable and on the whole the interiors are extremely spacious. The car provides generous legroom as well as headroom.
The interiors of the car are done with black leather and the front seats are adjustable and have heating and ventilation feature. The temperature in the car can be adjusted in two or three zones. The car has 450 Watt Dolby Digital Harman Kardon surround sound system that comes with twelve loudspeakers and subwoofer.

The car has several active safety features and these include attention assist drowsiness detection feature, PARKTRONIC along with advanced parking guidance, electronic stability program, anti lock brake system, acceleration skid control, PRESAFE – integral safety concept, brake assist system, tyre pressure loss warning system, adaptive high beam assist, electro hydraulic brake system and anti lock brake system.
Mercedes E-Class Coupe Price and design variations
The price of the car is around Rs 45.89 lakhs to approximately Rs 56.38 lakhs. The car is available in Indian with two engine options.

The car is available in several stylish colors and these include indigolian blue, cuprite brown, calcite white (non metallic), obsidian black, flint grey (metallic) and palladium silver.
