  1. Do Research Work – Before going for a test drive of a car, you must do some research work. First of all, make a list of all the things you need to have in your new car. This includes all the necessities & accessories. Also select a color which attracts you the most, then the second one & finally note down the colors which you don’t even think of buying. Then, research for the prices. First, know the price which you can afford & then collect the data about the cars that suits best under these prices.
  2. Before Test Drive – Have a keen look on the car. Carefully examine the handles, keys, paint & the body panel. Look for all the sides, front, back & from sides also. Then get in & come out of the car. See if it is comfortable in doing so. Also look for the comfortability of the seats. Try to adjust it according to your comfort. Open the tailgate/truck once. Have a look on the capacity inside as you need this while travelling.
  3. During Test Drive – Always test drive that model only, which you wish to buy. Even very similar models differ in many things. Check the acceleration, noise of the engine, brakes, cornering etc. Try to drive the car on all types of road. This would give a good idea. Do all types of turns like short turns, long turns. Use brakes little frequently. This tells about the real condition of car & its capacity to withstand harsh conditions.

After the test drive, if you are satisfied with the car, finalized it. But then, you also pay attention to the mode of payment & proper papers and formalities. These are equally important & essential.
